Before the Big Bang

There are so many galaxies in the sky and the nebula, stars, black holes, dark matter, planets, asteroids. Our universe is about the time, space and matter. Everything is the product of Big Bang. What happened to cause the Big Bang? There are 11 dimensions. One opinion is that our universe is the outcome of the collision between two parallel universes moving into the 11th dimension. Nearly 13.7 billion years ago big bang occurred and that was the birth of our universe. Was there something like brains or membranes? This is the video from BBC explaining by looking back in to the time about the things happened before the big bang. The big bang, parallel universes and the creation of time, space and matter.

Hi mymagicview! I just want to ask you these questions.

Your article says:

How do you say "there are 11 dimensions" existing in this universe? Who says so? Science?

Do you know a decade ago string theory said there were 10 dimensions...and then it said 11 dimensions.

And before that string theorem conveniently invented dimensions and the number went up to 32!

So how do say now there are 11 dimensions?

And parallel universes...?

Look, string theory is not yet science as it does not have any proof to verify.

Theoretical physicists often toss many new terms and ideas when they come across problems. These new theoretical ideas may or may not be true.

I think while dealing such topics we should clearly know what's science and what's not.

It's better we use "third-person style" while dealing such complicated topics that belong to the frontiers of science. -- Thanks

I believe there is 69 dimensions and you cannot prove me wrong, just like you can't prove me right.

The cosmos is eternal or at least a trillion years old. There was no big bang. How could the energy density of the universe decline 123 orders of magnitude in so brief a time a 13 billion years? All these big bang theorists insist it was 10 to the 93 at the Planck Time and now it is 7x10 to the minus 30 (observed; not theoretical). No one knows or will ever know the origin or fate of the universe. Humans cannot even predict the weather.

Also String Theory - theory now - is long-defunct. The reason these academicians cntinue to add dimensions is a lame attempt to try and supress all the charge parity violation that cropped-up with perverse ubiquity. It's called The Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy: fire rounds at a barn then find the tightest grouping and draw a bullseye around it. It's also known as Confirmation Bias or Hypothesis Lock. They do these things to justify the government grants they receive. It has nothing to do with science.

In my earlier comment I should have perhaps defined "energy density". That is the quantity of matter/energy of interstellar space, given in grams per cubic centimeter. It is very stable at 7.5x 10 to the minus 30; i.e., not much. There are stars in globular clusters in our own galaxy older than 3.7 billion years. We don't know much; we're just not smart enough. What we "know" is only what we can observe - like the 2nd Law of thermodynamics. Law, not theory, easily proved sitting on a barstool. Everything else is a theory and anyone can state a theory with the same authority as any Ph.D out there. If one wants to believe String Theory, great; just be aware that belief belongs in the realm of religion, not science. QED

Scientific Law is a scientific theory! THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO! Gravity is a theory! Atomic structure is a theory! AND NO, NOT ANYONE CAN STATE A THEORY! A theory is a series of hypotheses that have been tested over and over and over again and examined and poked and prodded and cannot be falsified! Yes, things in science keep changing. But they keep changing because, we keep learning! And if you do not like what science has to offer, then do not rely on the medicines and medical devices and cars and any other technology that has come about because of science!
